Welcome to our website for the Redwood High School Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA). The mission of Redwood PTSA is as follows:

to foster communication between the school and the home;
to present relevant parent education programs;
to encourage parents to become involved in school activities; and
to support projects or programs designed to improve the education, health, safety and well-being of students.

•May 21 - Parents, Teens and the Law
Please join us for a forum entitled, Parents, Teens and the Law, which will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at 7:00 p.m., at the Marin County Office of Education. The forum, which is sponsored by the Marin County Bar Association, is designed for students and parents. Teens’ and parents’ legal rights and responsibilities will be discussed. Topics will include the impact of Marin’s Social Host Ordinances, teen sexual behavior and its potential consequences, cyberspace bullying and much more. LUNCH PLAZA PROJECT

Redwood PTSA proudly announces that we have met our fundraising goal for the new Redwood Lunch Plaza, thanks to our annual PTSA parent party/fundraiser, Redwood Rocks! 2008, as well as generous grants from the Redwood H.S. Foundation and the Corte Madera Community Foundation. The Lunch Plaza is currently under construction, and hopefully it will be finished in time for Graduation 2008. Thanks to everyone -- parents, staff, administrators, students, alumni, and community members -- who donated to the cause and/or who purchased legacy bricks, planter benches, tables or trees for the plaza. The Plaza will be a beautiful shaded place for students to eat, hang out and study, and for school and alumni groups to hold outdoor receptions

Please note that it is not too late to purchase a legacy brick for the Lunch Plaza; however, any bricks purchased after April 15, 2008, will be installed at a later date, on an annual basis.

The Redwood Post, a monthly parent newsletter, is mailed to every household in the school eight times a year, but is usually available online on the first day of the month.

MEMBERSHIP

It’s never too late to join the Redwood PTSA! Membership forms are available online. PTSA membership of $40 includes one copy of the school directory, which is published by PTSA. Extra copies of the directory may be purchased for $10 at the Student Activities Office.
