PRESENTERS:
Timmen Cermak, MD: Dr Cermak is Board Certified in Psychiatry,
with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Addiction Psychiatry. He is
a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), chaired
CSAM’s task force on medical marijuana and serves on the society's
Executive Council. He authored several books on addiction issues. His most
recent work is Marijuana: What’s a Parent to Believe?
Larry Fritzlan, MFT CAS: Mr. Fritzlan has been involved in alcoholism and addiction for over 25 years and has worked with parents whose teens are using drugs/alcohol for the past 12 years. He is an adjunct profession at The California Institute of Integral Studies and author of the upcoming book, Getting Teens to Choose Sobriety. He is founder and director of Adolescent Recovery Services, a comprehensive treatment program supporting families.
